Marie-Madeleine Duruflé plays Vierne at Soissons Cathedral:

Particularly noteworthy is the Finale: some witnesses of Vierne playing this work himself reported that he made the sforzandi at the beginning sound like someone slamming a door shut. Of all the recordings I know, this one comes closest to that effect. (Although Madame Duruflé may not necessarily have heard Vierne herself, surely her husband Maurice has told her all he knew about Vierne's playing.)
