Possibly the opera world best kept secret, raising French Russian dramatic soprano Irina Titaeva is going to spellbound a still and fast growing number of her admirers during this strenuous tour (Oct.22-Nov.6,2005) which will take her from Italy,Malte and Egypte to...Lybia and Jordania. She will be joined by Polish born and Juilliard and Royal Academy of Music educated pianist Joseph Kapustka. The couple will perform in some of the most fascinating UNESCO world heritage listed places , some of them opened for the very first time to the Western concert going public.
Titaeva has specialised herself in a Verdian repertoire for which her voice seems to be a purposedly created gift of God of a rare beauty and intensity. Very recently she has been heard in UNESCO headquarters Paris with Orchestre Philharmonique International in Nabucco, interpretation particularly mature technically and emotionally. The 2005 Radio France Festival " Figures tragiques" proved that she is also capable of a humorous touch in her creation which she handles with her typical sense of purpose and style.Noblesse oblige she does not snob a good tune either being particularly touching in her rendition of Russian romances ,let it be Tchaikovsky or Rachmaninoff.Kapustka, pianist for all seasons is her perfect match. To follow absolutely
