Hi again Andrey.
I guess your studies are in the Classical field but there have been excellent Jazz players using your instrument (French Horn)
Hello Andrey,
Welcome to the forum. You will sure find some interesting discussions here. We cover a lot of different music areas. It'll be nice to see some of your compositions. You can find mine here as well.
Cheers
OLDUDE,
my "official" studies are in classical field indeed, but I also play in sympho-jazz-fusion orchestra. We`ll probably play together with Shilkloper this summer.
By the way, can I post a link to my music here? Or I should do it only in special thread?
Go to this sub-forum and read the sticky thread. You'll find all the info you need.
Welcome, hope you are having a good time here, Andrey!
Best regards,
Frederik
This group is weird...
I love Russian music.
I went to Moscow twice. In 1970 I went to the Glinka museum and met Shostakovich's sister in law...Finally I met Dmitri Shostakovich and had a cup of tea with him. He was very polite but sick. I was 17 years old. We spoke about many things...He asked me what was the thing I preferred, I said Katerina Izmailova...He told me "good choice...me too, I love this opera."...He was charming, his English was not very good and my Russian was very poor, actually it is better, I'm studying Russian.
I know nobody will read this.
Martin
