    Re: \"With Wings\" & \"Lullaby\" (New Downloads!)

All I can say is 'Oh my good God, why haven't I heard of you before?' You are one talented person Frederik. When I listened to 'With Wings' to me it sempt as if the music flowed from you, just naturally. I only wish to compose like that in the future.

All the best with up-coming compositions!

Anyhow, since the work is not a commission, I'm setting a larger time frame, in the event that I may need to work on other projects before composing the concerto - in order to "pay for the meals"
That is Very interesting about the time process involved in composing, Frederik. Thanks for sharing that. I hope you will concentrate on your own compositions and commissions, and not get into film music just yet, because films must force (I imagine) the composer to bring music forward that perhaps their Muse is not in the mood to do or is ready to express just yet. I love what's in your head!

This is very pretty and relaxing. I'm a big fan of your Toccata & fugue.

Thanks for the nice comments khatermohd and Judy!

Susangio, thanks for your concern about film music. I will certainly be steeping very slowly carefully when entering that field and leave my "own" music behind. I promise

    Hi Judy,

I apologize that I can be hard to catch at times. Part of it is probably due to the different time zones, but also from time to time when absorbed in composing (especially when stuck in a major work ) I may not be online for a while, but please don't be discouraged.

    All the best,
    Frederik

I only wish I was Swaft right now. I found your work Mr. Magle moving. That is not something that I say very often, about Music or Painting. Your on to something here with this "improv" piece. I've listened to it now 14 times and it still has this hidden effect that I just can't pinpoint where it's coming from, which sort of adds to my delight. Thank you for this work, I may even listen another 14 times tonight before I move onto something else.
