Hi Ekpes,

Welcome to the forum, btw ...

No website is going to help you with your pedaling. The only way to learn pedaling is to practice at an organ console. There are a couple of great "method" books, one of which is written by John Stainer and another by Harold Gleason. The Gleason book is rather pricey, ($109 USD on Amazon) but it's the one I bought 49 years ago when I began organ lessons.

The Stainer book, (~$12 USD on Amazon) is considered to be excellent as well. I learned the Gleason pedaling technique early on ... in present day, I have migrated my pedal technique to the Stainer method, which allows crossing.

As far as looking at the pedals, I was taught from the get go not to ever look - actually learned to "feel" the intervals with my feet (while wearing organ shoes) ... but it's quite okay to look down when just beginning to learn the pedalboard. Eventually, it will become second nature and you won't have to look at the feet very often.

I never turn on the pedalboard light except for Sunday mornings - and then only because my parishioners enjoy watching the feet do their magic .

I don't quite understand what you are referring to by the phrase "popular match for the piano" ... matching what ... music or
