    BWV 1031 organ transcriptions?

Are there any recommended recordings of BWV 1031 transcribed for Organ? I heard a piano transcription on the radio and thought how much better it might sound on the organ.

Did a quick search, and found at least a (free) transcription of the Siciliano at this Dutch site:

    http://www.free-sheetmusic.org/cms/?..._J.S.:Diversen

Just scroll down the page and you'll find it, despite the (not so?) incomprehensible language .

I'll try feeding that into one of the virtual organ applications, not being a player I was hoping to find a recording.

Any of our virtuosi fancy playing it and recording to MP3 and posting the result?

My mistake, I was too focused on the word 'transcription' whilst searching.
But here's a recording (Naxos) of a transcription of that same Siciliano (arranged by Widor himself, or so it seems):

SNAP, I just signed up to that site, not sure if to go for the track or the complete album.

I've never considered myself a virtuosi, but I do play concerts as well as playing in church every week. Since I'll be at my church all day Wednesday this week (Ash Wednesday services), I'll can record it and post it here on Thursday, if that helps any.

Lars - you might very well be a virtuoso, I hardly think you'd be a virtuosi, however. I, too, look forward to hearing you tickle the ivories (and woods).

Siciliano, JS Bach - M.P. Möller (1979) II/9 (console in avatar at left)
    Registration used in this recording:
    Swell: 8' Gemshorn Celeste
    Great: 8'-4' Gedeckt (metal), Trem.
    Pedal: 8' Gedeckt

A little slower than I would normally play it ... stretched to pace the time needed during communion distribution at noon service.
