Right Stephen.. I find myself listening also..as well you can record your own playing and play it back which is great for catching mistakes or what you thought was a good sound/performance..LOL

One thing to be forewarned about as I just encountered this after installing windows 7 64 bit OS...Miditzer doesn't seem to like the 64 OS and will give an error about the app not being able to set the audio driver.

I partitioned the hard drive and have XP 32 bit for my GigaStudio Orchestra (it doesn't play well with other drivers, such as internet) so I just installed Miditzer there. Windows 7 32 bit doesn't seem to have any negative effect however...it works fine on my laptop which is 7 32 bit. Just FYI.

    Hi guys !

I got both my Midigers (150&216) workin' on both my win7 laptops 32bit and 64 one.
My problem with both on both is the latency (I'm not using an external sound card and I won't go to Creative....for...reasons )

If someone has some optimal settings for fluidsynth, please send a post !

    Cheers

But were you able to get the 216 and/or 260P working on 7 64 Panos? If so, that would be amazing! Some time ya just gotta hear that big ole Wurly

    Hi Stephen !

Yeah, I installed 216 first without any kinda problem. I listened to the midi file and later I installed the smaller 150 (witch I like much). The only problem is the fluidsynth latency settings (also in my 32bit win7 laptop). Is strange 'cause as I work a lot with jOrgan, there, the fluidsynth works excellent ( I went down to 11/192 on some sets !).

I also got the samples from the real Wurlie downloaded from Midiger site and installed OK in 216(changing bank). I haven't try it in 150 , yet

Still, I insist on Paramount 310 on HW3 for some great Theater sound.

I believe Midiger guys have to do some more work on their instruments to catch up time. What about changing engine and get Midigers to work with ASIO4all driver ? and workin' with Jack, so we can add better reverbs to the very good Midiger sound, like the great SIR2 Theater?

How can't you get 216 workin' on your 64/win7 ?
Even without a kbd connected 216/150 can work with the laptop keyboard.I use to do it when I want an intermission from a hard law case workin'

    Tell me about
