• Welcome to the Pipe Organ Forum! This is a part of the open community Magle International Music Forums focused on pipe organs (also known as "church organs"), organists, organ music and related topics.

This forum is intended to be a friendly place where technically advanced organists and beginners (or even non-organists) can feel comfortable having discussions and asking questions. We learn by reading and asking questions, and it is hoped that the beginners (or non-organists) will feel free to ask even the simplest questions, and that the more advanced organists will patiently answer these questions. On the other hand, we encourage complex, technical discussions of technique, music, organ-building, etc. The opinions and observations of a diverse group of people from around the world should prove to be interesting and stimulating to all of us.

As pipe organ discussions can sometimes become lively, it should be pointed out that this is an open forum. Statements made here are the opinion of the poster, and not necessarily that of the forum itself, its administrator, or its moderators.

In order to post a new topic - or reply to existing ones - you may join and become a member by clicking on Register New User. It's completely free and only requires a working email address (in order to confirm your registration - it will never be given away!). We strive to make this a friendly and informative forum for anyone interested in pipe organs and organ music.

Hi Guys,
Sorry this has taken so long, but we're finally ready with Release Candidate versions of the Jeuxdorgue's Stiehr Mockers sample set for GrandOrgue and Hauptwerk.... now with added Clairon 4 in the Pedal of the Extended Console as requested by Beta testers. There have been a few other minor fixes since the Beta 2.

You can download the GrandOrgue sample set from http://www.jeuxdorgues.com/files/Jeuxdorgues2_GrandOrgue.rar or from the Jeuxdorgues Download page (http://www.jeuxdorgues.com/en/download.php).

Please note that the HW3 installer is a new installer that will use a different directory in your Hauptwerk folder, so if you were a Beta tester please Uninstall the Beta version.

The Hauptwerk installer can be downloaded from http://www.jeuxdorgues.com/files/Jeuxdorgues2.CompPkg.Hauptwerk.rar or by going to the Jeuxdorgues download page (http://www.jeuxdorgues.com/en/download.php). The samples are 16-bit 44.1 Khz, stereo. The download is about 177Megs, decompressed to 427Megs.

If there are no 'bugs' reported in the next few weeks, then these will become the official releases... otherwise we'll work on some fixes and then release the final versions.

Have fun!

Graham, Still a problem with duplicate stop numbers, but hold off until I do a minor rewrite to leave out sharps/flats. I'm having to redo the stop and coupler data cos Finalé won't let me put a note and its sharp (nor flat) in the same chord, not even using layers, so a minor rewrite of tbe spreadsheeet is in progress.

The pic shows how a stop control staff could look, the untied notes toward the end would cause the stop to be released and reselected on each individual note as a note off command is generated when the note is released, with tied notes the note/stop is held on.

When sorted it should be a very rapid way of setting stops (I hope) (click for larger pic)

A minor nit. When the Ped. Clairon 4' is selected the image isn't as bright as the others. Can you make it brighter?
