Praeludium in C BuxWV 137 - Buxtehude
" The essance of reproduction,to feel and re-create that which was felt and impared by the creater, does not exclude- within natural limitations-the assertion of creative power" - Dr. Hugo Goldschmidt.
I wish you the Best for each day, now and always.

Thanks for posting!
Liked it a lot.
Here's a clip of the same instrument, with Menno van Delft playing Böhm's Vater unser im Himmelreich.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md2qlTxG2ng
The instrument was constructed by Arp Schnitger, and built (1699-1701) by two of his employees: Rudolf Garrels and Johannes Radeker. (Garrels also built the famous organ in Maassluis.)
After the last restoration (Bernhard Edskes, 2001) the organ in Uithuizen exists of Hoofdwerk, Rugwerk & Pedal; 28 stops, 21 of them are original Schnitgers.
Thanks for the link Bill. The fellow organist seems to live every note he played and of course there is the unique sound of Schnitger...
I also wached all the Passacaglia videos.Hmmm, I think nobody ever reached the perfection of the performance Peter Hurford gave in 1983 recording in Our Lady if Sorrows Church in Canada. He did a tremendous acceleration of feelings from start to end with no rush at all, so all beautiful accidentals written by Bux can be deeply understood.
What you think?
greetings from your friend Panos
Marc......Enjoyed that on too Thanks
