    The prayer of senility

    God grant me the Senility
    to forget the people
    I never liked anyway,
    the good fortune
to run into the ones I do,
    and the eyesight
    to tell the difference.

I can manage 21, but I think the 4 I miss out on are only due to living outside the US, 2,9,10 &13, we had our own green stamps so I count that one. I also recall the days of zero TV channels, then a few years with only 1, by the time colour came along we were up to 3 channels.

By the way does NTSC (American TV standard) still stand for "Never Twice the Same COlour"??
    Cheers MIKE.

Ah yes, perhaps you are right Colin, as long as it is not both.

I like this quote by Friedrich Nietzsche

I'm getting scatter brained myself. I don't know of the times I
locked the door and left the keys hanging outside in the lock
to discover them when I go outside. I own about three pairs
of reading glasses in case I need a pair. I went to church last
wednesday and left my phone at home. I had to go to the
church office to use their phone because I forgot my cell
phone. Completely forgot that I had a doctors appointment
last monday. The bus driver knocked at my door and I was
not ready for nothing. I told him to wait until friday.
Knuckle headed stuff like that. Believe it or not AARP keeps
sending me invitations to join them because I will be fifty
in July. I feel old enough without being with people old
enough to be my parents as my peers.
