    Hi Strunch,
Very Interesting - first I thought wtf .. is there something wrong with the media player...
Yeah really - (Take that as good or bad - for me it was fun) I AM used to open genres though.
(check the atmospheres below if you wish)
    - - but then it made sence. Somehow i HAD to keep listening to Frosty apartment -
I got glued to it and had to listen again and again. It has a strange pushing melancholic feeling,
which captures me. - I could ask for some more treatment of the beats if you wanna hear my wishes.
    (tomorrow then)
And also treatment of the overall sound as we move further in to the tune.

There's a complete change of color and character when the beat breaks in at around 2:30 - Im not sure that the quality
of those drums match the rest... - The change of character is also a bit too weird for me here.
A suggestion could be to reveal this new music color and the drums in some way - somehow in the beginning,
to see what would happen. - All in all its a very intriguing piece and it seems very original and honest.
Congrats on your participation in the CD album!
    Thx for the share.
    franks,

The first, Frosty Apartment, is going on a compilation CD for open genres in Sweden. It has generated a lot of positive feedback. The second, Upchurch, is one I think may be interesting for this specific forum, as I use a reversed church organ throughout the piece.

I was not referring to your music, with my link to my atmospheres.
I was referring to the fact that Im familiar with open genres,
as I think my atmospheres tend to go in that direction,
but they are probably to be considered ambient
    - at least the ones on the site I lnked to..

Those two pieces are about the only two I have ever made in the genre IDM, I'm not really a huge IDM fan actually. I have a lot of friends who are tho. You can hear some of the other stuff I have made in this forums review section (old threads - old pieces).
I have four albums behind me now, in various genres. But I guess I could compile 10 albums if I gathered all my pieces in albums. It's mostly rythmical-melodical music, hence why I reacted so on your ambient theme. You had some good elements in your atmosphere for sure. Good luck with your adventures! Cheers!

I heard The frosty apartment before.
But now as I had a lsiten to Upchurch, I gotta say that I really like it.
Very nicely done. One of the best works I've heard from you, IMO. Definetly keep up the good work!
