    Hi everybody,
I am mostly surprised to discover this site today, but more to see the fellow from Athens! It seems we have a lot of comon interests specially the crying at the sound of an organ.
One of my great dreams is now virtual reality :
I posses a Cavallier Coll organ from Notre Dam de Metz in my living room thanks to Hauptwerk. I am into jazz improvsation (piano) with a trio that performs well but not often. I direct the small firm of Antithesis Architecture (the title explains it all).
and the last news is that I was in Athens last Tuesday at the Megaron consert hall taking part as a member of the choir in the 9th SYMPHONIE OF BEETHOVEN with the Budapest Symp. Orchestra and Lans Fisher on the podium. What a performance!

Welcome to the forums. The 9th is one of my favorites and glad you got to perform it with the choir. A remembered experience I am sure. Enjoy your time here.

I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.

    Cheers,

    Hello Costas

Welcome to the forum, glad you could join us. I like Beethoven's ninth very much, it must have been a great experience for you to sing it with the choir.
