Here is a beautiful modern case that displays some asymmetry but lacks colour (certainly not a fault).

Dobson dropped some colour in on this case! Love it. Visually stimulating but the horizontals and the burgundy pipes seem to create a real calm for my eye.

An interesting photo of an organ case. I suspect the pipes are not blue nor the wood so yellow - but an very interesting concept. The blue and the yellow really vibrate being almost complements on the colour wheel. The photographer is creating a balanced visual composition (avoiding symmetry) - notice how your eye keeps moving around the image. Super photo.

    Thanks everyone

Thanks everyone all your feedback for the links to colourful organ cases.
I had hoped for more modern examples but I guess my original post was not very clear.

    Thanks again,
    L

The remark about the explosion in a pencil box is reminiscent of what an art critic once said about one of Picasso's paintings at a Paris exhibition: "It looks like an explosion in a shingle factory".

I haven't seen the Disney organ in person, but from pictures, I keep wondering how those pipes stay there. There must be some hidden wire work or something that keeps them from falling over.

Not far from there is First Congregational, which has an organ that can just about blow you out of your seat. And the pipes up in the gallery look far more stable!! The L.A. area has a number of other notable instruments.
