Vladimir Ashkenazy and the Sydney Symphony

My hometown orchestra and their wonderful music director

Love this piece, and sadly not heard often enough.

    CT64,

Thanx for sharing that snippet of Rach's *The Bells*. I'm very happy that Sydney has such a consummate musician like Vladimir. His Rachmaninoff readings are *superfantabulous*.

    Cheers,

    CD

Yes, they are (on the whole) and excellent orchestra ... especially when someone inspirational is at the helm like Maestro Ashkenazy
