How sad to hear that, as you say Mike a great loss.

Here are two videos, same singer but totally different.

It truly is a loss for the world. There was the most beautiful tribute on the news this morning. A sad way to awaken and start the day, but bittersweet in that this trail-blazing woman was so instrumental in tearing down barriers in the US. I listen to her music often and always enjoy the memories they instill.

I am grateful for all of the years of entertainment from this phenominal talent.

May she rest in peace after a long full life and great contributer to music and civil rights.

To have lived to age 92, and loving every minute of being such a talented musician must be a wonderful experience. I hope we all live that long to enjoy all of our accomplishments. Rest in peace, Lena.
