Question Help with the iTouch app 'Symphony'

Hey everyone, I need help with the app Symphony, if any of you know about it. I'm just wondering if there's a way I can put music files on to the computer. I'm composing my first serious organ piece (Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue in F minor) and I want to post it here to see what you all think!! If I'm unclear in any way, please let me know! Thanks for all your help! ~Silver

    Hi Silver,

To post a music clip here, click on "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the message box. After doing that, another menu will appear ... scroll down to "Manage Attachments" and click on that. In the next pop-up window you can upload your file using the 'browse' feature. Then click on upload ... it may take a few minutes depending on ones internet connection speed. Once that is done, close the small window, and then click on "Submit" and your music file will appear inside your posting.

If you need help or are having trouble uploading, shoot me a PM and we'll help you any way we can.

Ok, thanks for the help, but I don't think it's possible to pull out files from an app to the Internet. But thanks for your help! Now I know how to do it in the future,

It is possible to record straight from the app to a computer, using a program like audacity, and a double-ended headphones plug.

To start with, you need double ended audio cord. You can buy them off Amazon, like the ones here:
    http://www.amazon.com/3-5-Stereo-Cable-Male-Feet/dp/B002JCOX5U/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1276067578&sr=8-5

Then you need an audio recording program, like audacity. (Google search 'audacity', and it should be the first result.)

You then take the audio cord, plug one end into the iPod/Phone/Device, then the other into the speakers jack on your computer. Then start recording, and play the music on the iPod. Once the music is finished, stop recording, and the music should have recorded onto the computer. You can the save as an MP3, WAV or OGG file, as well as the original audacity files.

If you want to upload the actual score onto MIMF, there is a free music notation software called Musescore (again, first Google result) that has a wide variety of instruments, however it only comes with piano sound format for playback.

Hope I could be of some assistance.
