yesterday i bought eddie condon-1928-1931-timeless and slim and slam- the groove juice special- columbia. early classic jazz, this is marvellous historic jazz. gord
today i bought jamie begian big band- big fat grin-innova. my verdict this is not goodman or basie or even ellington. what this is, is a very very modern sounding big band and they are also very very good. i will have to look for other cds by this band, recommended. gord![]()

John I have only listened to Sonny Rollins a couple of times and did not like, IMHO he did not have the
inventiveness required for jazz it just put me off
today i bought diane schuur--blues for schuur-grp gord
