The potential forum meetup could be a good time for old members to become involved again

Merely members who had been with the forum for some years, not members of my age (12 years old mentally)

    Absent friends

Teddy: I just came across your post in September in which you mentioned the fact that you would nee to undergo eye surgery. Could you please let us know if you had the operation or are still awaiting it? I myself have to undergo some surgery on my left ear within the month to remove a cancerous tumor which is embedded there. Anyway, if you've already had the operation, I hope that it was completely successful and that you are doing well.. Steve

Sorry to hear about your impending operation. I am sure all your friends on the forum will be keeping everything crossed until all is well. I am still waiting for a decision regarding the opps. Two will generally help, one is in the future and one I will know more about when I attend my next appointment on the 23rd. I have been told that there is a danger with this opp as it could make things worse. I am already preparing to sell my Porsche as my eyesight is no longer good enough to drive at high speed, and the trouble with having a car with a top speed of 160 mph is you are sometimes tempted to use it. Having spent quite a large part of my life practising safe, albeit fast driving with advanced driving techniques I know it is time to put temptation out of reach. Do let us all know how your opp is proceeding. Does the condition affect your balance?

It's so sad to hear this, WK. My thoughts are with you. Hope the surgery goes well.

Teddy, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, too. Bummer about the Porsche, but in this case it sure is a good move to put the temptation out of reach.

Keep us posted, both of you.

    Good luck and be well,
    Mat

Thanks Mat. The only thing which rankles is that far too many temptations are becoming out of reach. I will have to try and think of some new ones

    Hi Steve

I am sorry you are having to have an operation. My thoughts are with you that all will go well.

It is a shame about your Porche Teddy, I hope that your eye operations are successful. I will be thinking of you.

What sort of Porch Teddy, front or back?

(Can't be a Cayenne turbo, they are only for use on school runs of under half a mile.)
