    Thank you Giwro, again.

It is in my mind to finaly separate HW from the PC(laptop) I use for everything...It adds many GB....I'm already to 80GB in sets and some 5GB in recordings(wav).

I want to do something in return, so I send you , Nicolas and all a Pachelbel toccata recorded playin' me live with Antegniatti 1600 set to direct HW out.
    I hope you like it
(Nick It would be better if I made this with Budapest set to be in accordance with your thread....appologies for deviation)

    Hi Nick !
Is the St.Carlo Brescia HWset (24bit 48.000) from the Antegniatti Organ, built in 1600 (!!).
Classic Italian (I think I told you about in another thread - strange last bass octave...)I use it a lot - see also my VSTi thread here
I believe is one of the best choices to play Pachelbel's music it conforms with the era, but as I think again I should have done it with some other temperament instead of Equal.....
As I'm not sure witch to select (witch mean tone, Kirnberger? ect) I leave it as it is today (I mean the real organ), as if I was in Brescia and played...(dream on.....)
    Any suggestions?

I 'm very glad you liked, is part of my effort to record all (15) of Pachelbel's toccatas (already I have recorded three of them and one prelude), they're not so often performed and recs are limited. They deserve more.

PS - if you wonder how this rec went from .wav(HW rec out) to mp3, I converted with Audacity program, just to conform with forum rules (20MB max) and for ease download....

Oh! Yes i remember it! I did not realise this was the same organ.

Well as for the temperament, i am not sure whether the original 1600' one has been tweaked in any sort of restorations or upgrades, but i would suggest that you leave it as it is in the original samples. Though, if you are wondering about that organ and its original temperament you can for instanse google it and i am sure you will get some results. Generally speaking though in my opinion, the more authentic a recording is, the more it makes you feel as if you listened to it on the real thing.

Indeed there are not that many pachelbell recordings, and many of them certainly deserve a lot more. I am looking forward to seeing more of them.

Yea indeed, i had some hard time uploading the last clip i wanted too because of the 20 MB limit. Thanks for informing.

    Best wishes,
    Nick
