It chertainly ain't the first one, that's for sure. Biggest on record was 8.1 in the far north. The 1988 one referred to by Robin reached 6.0, in the Saguenay area. And then there are all these yellow spots on the map:

Thank goodness we are not on the kind of fault lines like in California. Fingers crossed this won't happen again in my lifetime.
