Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by Patrick Doyle (The other Harry Potters by John Williams are good too but Goblet of Fire is my favorite)
    Pearl Harbor by Hans Zimmer
A Beautiful Mind by James Horner (it's kinda different but cool, I think)
Pride and Prejudice by Dario Marianelli (a lot of nice piano music)

And I agree about the Lord of the Ring soundtracks by Howard Shore. All very excellent.
And Pirates of the Caribbean by Klaus Badelt

Canzonetta Sull'Aria from Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart. Lovely song; my sister and I sing it together sometimes.

Also, a few more for the soundtrack list:
The Chronicles of Narnia by Harry Gregson-Williams
And someone else already mentioned Finding Neverland. Great score.
And Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events by Thomas Newman is really nice too.

I like scores by Basil Poledouris(who died last year BTW). He did the score for Blue Lagoon, and Conan the Barbarian.I like also The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I saw on the special features of the dvd that Basil was a sailor too and could put that dreamy element into his music since it was a south seas movie.

I like seeing my favorite score ever listed...Gladiator of course. It's the perfect score to any movie and should have won the oscar over that Crouching Tiger garbage. I would also like to offer alternatives... in no particular order....
    1. Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country
    2. Children of Dune
    3. Master and Commander: Far Side of the World
    4. The Right Stuff
    5. Last of the Mohicans--especially the Promentory track
    6. 1492: Conquest of Paradise
    7. Blade Runner
    8. Star Wars--I'll include all of them
    9. Mutiny on the Bounty--The Vangelis score is awesome, as most of his are.
    10. Batman: Original Motion Pic Soundtrack-- Batman is so much better when it's dark in nature.

There are probably 50 more I could list..all Vangelis soundtracks, a couple other Hans Zimmer albums too. Really I have to thank my father for introducing me to all this music as I was growing up, god knows what I'd listen to if he didnt.

I know of two excellent ones since the Bee Gees have out a greatest
hits album since two of them died. They are Saturday night Fever and
Grease if you like the 50's and 70's.
