    Replacing midi game port plug for USB

    The midi cable from from my digital organ plugs into the sound card..can I replace the cable with a USB plug instead of the game port plug ?

    I am not sure I got your question correctly (sorry, English is not my mother tongue), but if your query is to get Midi to USB cable, yes, it does exist like this one -

    Thanks..I'd already bought one of those from amazon lol...my question realy was will the switch from game port to USB work ok ?

    Hi MIke.

    As Mike said, works OK.

    Try to find a Midi to USB dedicated converter like my ROMIO II. Has two midi outs and two Midi ins connected thru a converter to one USB jack. Works Great.
