Love the icon propped up against the organ, very resourceful - not.

    Great links - thanks

Start today with two shorter pieces by 2 composers I don't remember hearing before

    John Richardson
    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...70&Code=2&No=6

    Theodor Salome
    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...70&Code=2&No=7

On this larger 3 manual organ

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/Rsear...c_index=H00570

Now 2 better known composers, Samuel Wesley

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...23&Code=2&No=1

    And George F Handel {name does sound familiar }

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...23&Code=2&No=4

On this 2 manual Walker of 1867

    Cheers MIKE.

Voluntary in Cmin by John Watts

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...64&Code=2&No=7

Sounding to me like a larger organ than it actually is

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/Rsear...c_index=D01864

One from the "Village Organist" Vol3 a minuet by Felix Alexandre Guilmant

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...55&Code=2&No=2

    On this organ

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/Rsear...c_index=N06455

Seems to be a small number of stops for a 3 manual instrument.
    Cheers MIKE.

Sorry for the slight delay in picking up this thread again, 3 more for your delectation,

    Firstly a piece by Haydn

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...49&Code=2&No=3

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/Rsear...c_index=N13349

Next a composer I have not heard before, E.T. Chipp

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...77&Code=2&No=3

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/Rsear...c_index=C00877

Finally another of John Stanley's Op 2 concertos, the title here says No 1, but I have it on the Baroque Music library Cd as No 4.

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/NPaud...00&Code=2&No=1

    http://www.npor.org.uk/cgi-bin/Rsear...c_index=N06500

I did mention the BM CD on the first post in this thread, wondering if anybody has actually downloaded the CD, I've hunted a few places for the scores, not found any yet. Do any of you have access to a string orchestra to try them with?
    Cheers MIKE.

Thanks agaion. Enjoyed. The composition by Chipp surely reminds me of the Grand Choeur Dialogue-Gignot
