Hi
The sample set of Marennes is ready.
The sound of the organ is better than the sound of the video (listen my mp3 in the pipe organ forum).
Not a great instrument but a very cheap and pleasant package of 3 organs.

Hi Jean-Paul,
It sounds like a wonderful little organ, and even better with the virtual extensionsIs it just available as a CD, or is it also available as a download from lulu.com? Also, will you be creating a GrandOrgue version of it at some time?
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Graham
I think that my publisher has removed the possibility of downloading files. I have searched on his site and not found. If someone needs this organ quickly I can send the files by mail (I am in a small village where I cannot upload. Some files can be downloaded but not all, so i'll have to send them as attachment. You may understand that it takes time and i cannot do that for everybody). The cd is also a small protection against copy).
People from this forum who want a download should write me a PM (same price, paypal only).
About a great organ I think you mean a 3 manuals, it is possible but not very interesting because there is not enough stops to make it.
Friendly yours. Jean-Paul

Hi Jean-Paul,
Thanks for the answer. About the GrandOrgue version, no I was not talking about a 3 manual version, I was talking about a MyOrgan/HW1/GrandOrgue (the continuation of the MyOrgan code) version.
Also, it might make sense for you to take a look at the free DropBox application that provides a good way to share folders with only specific people (granting access for a specific time period) https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTY5Mjg0ODA5 - just as another tool for your work.
Thanks,
GrahamG
Thanks for the infos about dropbox.
A GrandOrgue version is not possible because i use many tricks that do not exist in GO.
If this keeps up, the "virtual organ" (whatever that is) types are going to have samples of every existing organ on the planet.
True, pipe organs are essentially individual instruments, with a good bit of help from whatever surroundings they happen to be in. But when is enough enough???
Hi dll927,
That's like saying to a stamp collector 'When will you have enough Stamps in your collection?'...
The beauty of this modern technology is that I can have a couple of Cavaille Coll 'virtual' organs, plus a few Silbermanns, a Father Willis (or two or three), a Skinner, and some less well known names (Brindly and Foster, Stiehr-Mockers, etc, etc.).
This is a charming church Pipe Organ sample set and I hope that there are many more made along this model (small, very playable, and priced for the average person!).
