Odessa/Havana @ Ashkenaz
This is intern Steve here and I wanted to say Odessa/Havana played an awesome show at Ashkenaz. It was the first time I saw them live and in was an amazing experience. I’ve heard their mp3s, but I never thought they would preform with such professionalism, style, precision and energy. What surprised me most was the drum and bongo solo near the end, and it was good! This isn't a link to this show but see what I'm talking about, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaIQwtccr-I . I just can’t wait to see them at the Winterlicious.

Welcme Steve,
I see what you mean about the excitement this band can create, but sorry - it aint my type of jazz
Cheers John

Thanks for the honest opinion John. It is a different take on jazz because of the mix involved. If you put Jewish Klezmer and Havana music together thats what you get! Anyways have a nice day.
