It isn't every day we can celebrate a 400 year anniversary of a still existing organ.
In 1610 the Compenius Organ at Frederiksborg Castle, Denmark, was finished by Esaias Compenius after five years of work.
Four centuries later the Compenius Organ is surprisingly well preserved and is in almost original condition and can give us an impression of the sound of music in the seventeenth century.
