Hi,
Thought I'd upload a couple of pieces I've been working on recently.
Both recorded with my Zoom H2.
Hope you like them, would love your comments / constructive critisism

Niely done. LIke your gradual cresendo in Nimrod maybe a little jumpy in the last section:but is hard to make a smooth transition depending on available stops/ranks at that point of the piece. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments Bill, I appreciate them.
I agree it is jumpy coming down in Nimrod - I'm using a combination of thumb pistons and foot pistons to try and get a descrecendo and I'm concious that it doesn't sound smooth.
The difficulty is that the chords are using both hands, and there's peddaling and the swell pedal to control - makes for a jumpy transition between pedals and foot pistons, and unfortunately that is showing in the recording.
Oh well, more practice!!!!!
Thank you Jonesy I really enjoyed that. I have a soft spot for Elgar and Nimrod especially. A young Ken Russell made a film about his life for the Monitor programme and then a couple of years ago did a follow up. Fascinating stuff.
