I will resist temptation, I really will.

What on earth is going on in Delhi? top athletes and no one goes to see them, are they scared of bombes, are the ticket prices too high, did the organisers get things wrong again, what a shambles

I think a lot of it is down to bad organization. Add to that the unsanitary conditions the athletes were offered and terrorist activity in the recent past and it must have put a lot of people off. Yesterday it was announced that twenty British swimmers have come down with stomach bugs. Tests are being carried out at the practice pools.
