The downloaded file might be corrupted. The easiest way to check (before downloading it again) is to check its MD5 checksum against the published one on the website.
If you haven't got an MD5 checker, download this free one http://www.winmd5.com/ - it's less than 100kB. Unzip it and run it. Then you can use the Browse button in its dialog window to select the enigma .rar file to generate the MD5 sum (which takes maybe 15 seconds on my computer).
You can either compare the two sums yourself or paste the correct one into the entry at the bottom of the window and then click on Verify.
If the MD5 sum is incorrect then you will have to download the file again and check it again.
If the sum is correct then I don't know what to do other than suggest you make sure that you have plenty of free space on your C: drive because that is where your Hauptwerk installation is probably putting the cached sample set.
