Death in Venice, starring Dirk Bogarde and Marissa Berenson. What a truly great actor that man was!

Last time I went to the cinema was about 35 years ago, "One flew over the cuckoos nest" complete waste of money. I don't watch TV so can't comment on any others; back in the 1940/50s films, TV and radio were good entertainment, since then things have deteriorated along with most of what the media class as entertainment; I don't miss films, got far better things to do with what's left of my time.
    Cheers MIKE.

No siree - Its a shoot'em up, bang'em up Western flick. It is said that it was patterned after the film "Seven Samurai". I don't watch Cowboy films as a rule, but this one is an exception.

I have seen The Seven Samurai several times and relly enjoyed it. The same with TM7. Packed full of stars and very enjoyable. Have you seen Dances With Wolves. I think you would enjoy that as well

i watched the seven samurai several times, too, teddy (could this be called brotherhood of the popcorn?); and still do, every once in a while. but, i remember to have been particularly fascinated by ran and kagemusha, ages ago when i was somewhat younger.
