Torkildsen Organ in Levanger

On a recent organ crawl in Norway Jarle Fagerheim and I visited the Church of Levanger, which is about 80 kms from Trondheim. The organ was built in 2003 by the Norwegian firm of Torkildsen and is a very fine instrument. The quality of workmanship and the voicing are of the highest order. The III/38 instrument has tracker action with aids to registration including a crescendo pedal, adjustable pistons and a sequencer.
