Celebrations...

Hi guys,

I wrote/improvised this "hymn"-like piece the other day.
The occation for it is my grandmothers 80th birthday this comming Thursday.
It's nothing fancy, simple harmonies, slow/solemn tempo/atmosphere, piano with a tad of a "synthpad"-feeling in the background.
Just thought you might enjoy it.

Very nice composition Corno. Did you record the actually piano melody, or did you use a musical synthesizing program to do it? It reminds me of a song that they played at my great uncles funeral a few months past. Once again, great job! I'm sure she will enjoy it.

The "melody" was recorded/played on a piano I've attached to my computer - the synth/audio producing part is here solely that of my piano - the computer merely acted as a digital "tape recorder".

I can't help thinking "Kodak Commercial" whilst listening to this piece...

The last part of it (final seconds) were something of a pleasant surprise...

It feels like it's wanting to re-kindle memeories...

Anyway, just some thoughts... Beautifully done
