    12 string nylon guitar?

Does such an instrument exist? It shouldn't be too difficult to make one but I have never seen one and neither have any of my friends and acquaintances. i've searched the net and found nothing there either. Any luthiers around who might have some insight into this?

Uh... uh... I invented a new kind of acoustic phenomena, accelerated acoustics...
and built my own guitars until I got one left-handed as much as I have to be,
but, but, I've never even thought of a nylon string, twelve string guitar.

Congratulations for hitting me with an entirely new concept.
Leo Kottke would have loved you for it, I'm sure.

Make it fretless, and it can be an oud.
