    back in "business"

I've recently started playing again after a 30-year hiatus, and I'm thrilled! I've been practicing on an electronic (but very nice) Hammond at a local church. I had forgotten what fun it is to sit there and make those wonderful sounds!

I started playing the piano as a child and organ as an adolescent because I was fascinated by our church organist growing up. I would go up to the choir loft to watch him play.

I'm happy to be joining this forum.

    Welcome aboard, organiste

Great that you have returned to the bench again. I did the same thing when I was younger, would always go watch the organist play the postlude. Sometimes, she would even let me turn the organ off ... a real thrill in those days. In later years, I became the organist in that church, and stayed for 15 years.
