    Whistle anyone?

    Can anyone here whistle? I remember it took my ages to learn how to.

    Wow, that's great whistling. Forgot about Roger's whistling abilities.

    I love to whistle, but I'm not as good as that!

    Whistling was far more prevelant when I was young. It was quite common to hear men whistling as they walked about or worked. The advent of portable radios probably speeded its demise.

    I don't think so Teddy, unfortunately whistling seems to have gone out of fashion. As you said men were frequently heard whistling, but now very rarely do I hear anyone whistle.

    Back in high school, for our various musical programs, we had some that whistled - and they were pretty good, too. Rather a lost art anymore.

    I can still whistle whether exhaling or inhaling.
