My name is Martin.....I am 59 since december, the 12th. But I feel soooooooooooooo young! Maybe because I am used to exercising at the gym at least 4 times a week and I am Hyperactive too....LOL
I have two sons: John, 27, Musician and Christopher, philosophy teacher at college.

Myaskovsky is neglected, so am I, that is the reason I took his name or to be honest, because is less common than Mozart...LOL

My "special" passion is Russian music...I can say I became a kind of speciallist.
I started when I was a teenager:

- reading (I read all Gogol (100%), 97% of Pushkin, 50% of Dostoyevsky's production, 50% of Turgeniev (of course these figures are all fake, except the 100%....LOL)
- Listening to Russian music
-I went to Russia when I was 17 and stayed 45 days;
I went again when I was 18 and stayed 30 days.
I'm studying Russian and I can say I'm not very bad.

But I also love contemporary music:

Schreker, Zemlinsky, Schönberg, Berg, Webern, Egon Wellesz, Dallapiccola and Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Schnittke, Ligeti...

But also Monteverdi, Puccini, Wagner....Ouf! Martin likes many things.

I listen to music at least 3 hours per day...while training at the gym, I love especially opera. My son is a singer, but a rock singer.

I studied piano when I was 5 years old. My father cut it! When I was 12, I could start again, he cut it again! When my son was 15 he said, I want music for me. Here you are. He's more than a musician...he is a musician and a producer...He earns his life like that, he's 27. At 15-16 I started with contemporary music...At 17 I bought Lulu and Wozzeck (Alban Berg).

I am a teacher..I was working in Information systems for 26 years. I teach Spanish, French and English...I've been married for 33 years but my wife doesn't share my passion. I love her, she loves me...But I don't "love" the romances she reads and she doesn't love the music I like...But of course we share other stuff...
