    Gibbs Fugue

Here's a recording I made today - a fugue in D major by an English composer, Joseph Gibbs.

    Enjoy!

    Nicely done Mat !
I didn't know this one......Now this is what we can accomplish with our VPOs : record as many non often played works as we can and preserve a "little" history.... just thinkin'.....

Is this St.Anne? (I think I "saw" SIR2....) If yes, good registration and panning, or is this the at last installed Enigma?

    Hey Panos,

That's so very true about being able to record and preserve lesser-known works. That's partly why I chose this fugue.

It's St. Anne, and you saw SIR2 all right :-). Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck with the Enigma set yet.

Sounds good. Not familiar with his works either. Thanks for posting

Actually, it's Mr. Gibbs' talent. I just happened to play his work ;) But I'm glad you liked it, Teddy.

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate all your comments. I really enjoyed playing the fugue.

John, you can download the score from IMSLP.
