    Pb ii

    It's been silent for quite some time around amazing Plackband, probably the best Dutch proponent of retro-sounding Genesis. Last year Michel van Wassem (keyboards, vocals), Ronald Brautigam (guitars, vocals), Tom van der Meulen (drums) are back under flag of PB II. Their bass-player is Harry den Hartog. This outfit have found a lot of fresh ideas and do really execute well. Grandiose and vintage sounding CD 'Plastic Soup'.
    This is a modern prog rock masterpiece with gripping melodies, delicate details, surprising twists and turns. Also worthy of note is the excellent packaging of CD/DVD.
    There are superb guest musicians like John Mitchell (Arena), John Jowitt (IQ), Heidi Jo Heines (daughter of Denny Laine who played in Moody Blues and Wings)...
    In sum. I was blown away by this absorbing prog delight!
