    Martigan

MARTIGAN is a superb prog rock band hailing from Germany - who take their main influences from the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd, Marillion, IQ, Pendragon to name a few. Such influences take pride and place on the new release 'Vision', a release that is bound to take the neo-progressive heads by storm with heavily keyboarded & synthesized moods, mixed with the haunting guitar style...
Their material is at times charming and melodious bordering on romantic, at other times it borders on heavier side, though never gets stuck in either, remaining deliciously indefinable.
Personally I liked 'Vision' from the first time it was played and appreciation has not diminished. So... endorsement through a recommendation proves easy!

It's time to put Martigan next to their yet better known countrymen as RPWL and Sylvan.
