Arturas, I like your hat but not the danglers, what is the music intended for (Film sound track??) I was wondering how much of it is synthesized, it is quite dramatic.

J.H.C.,

Music is intended for my story about "The Clock"... The Clock is a mechanism able to movie people between the time dimensions and it is how the present time can be changed without "traveling in the past or the future". As I understand there is no past and and no future in this world at all, there is "here and now" only and any thoughts about "past or future" it's only an illusion which human mind is creating all the time. The thoughts as I understand it is other "here and now" what is happening in other time dimensions and "The Clock" is the key to travel between these dimensions and ability to change the present time of human kind.. When Mayans took from Olmecs the system of calendar they started to review and develop it. Mayans believed that time is cyclical. They thought, that time and events repeats, since knowing, what has happened in the past helps to foresee the future(this is historical facts), but then they has created "The Clock" they found that there is no past and no future, but only the "present time" and that "present time" is traveling between time dimensions with the help of human thoughts - and not the time and events repeats at all but thoughts of human kind(this is some information about my story...) The action of this story is at 19century.. Used a lot of "facts" of the History, but everything else is beautiful but serious philosophy in the genre historical/triller/action/fantasy...

Music is written in scores.. Have no possibilities for live recordings, so used a computer and EWQLSO Gold Edition Orchestra, Piano, Choirs libraries to make these scores sing.. Of course there was some work to make an orchestra sound close to "live sound" but still this is everything not a live performance... Yeah... Thanks for commenting!

The final audio result is very good, not as good as live of course but I can understand how useful these tools must be to composers, well done.
The ins and out of time could be discussed till the cows come home but very interesting all the same.IMO the past is fact but the future has not happened yet. what is your next step?

Clear blue sky, -9C, (17F). No new snow except a few very light flurries the last few days. now only about eight inches of packed snow on the ground - probably less in most places. Not a great year for anyone into skiing. ATB!

J.H.C.,

I lost any hope that maybe someday someone will give me a job to write music for the future movie and let me make money to buy composing tools I need to get so much - the next step is I need to get all myself, because I'm not ready to wait ten years or more somebody will offer a job. Stopped to write music for a while, because working on a serious project which is taking a lot of time - but this project is the only hope right now to get everything I need. "Sanctum Fortis" - what you hear is done with laptop, head-phones and some samples libraries(it's all I have) some weeks ago I was ill and spend my time in bed..

enjoyed the composition.. reminds me of the music you would hear at an I-MAX theater..with 3-d realism.. you feel as if you are within the music almost a flying feeling it seems to me. Keep up the good work..

Thanks wljmrbill, and what a surprise! I'm always trying to do sound "visual to listeners ear" :) But there is no technology to realize my fantasy yet(to create 3D sound which would be visual for listeners ears) - but one day it will be done!
