    St patricks day

In a few hours NZ time it will be St Pats Day so, A very happy St Patrick's day to all MIMF members just a couple of vids to get you in the mood I must confess to being a great fan of Irish folk music old and new, The Chieftains in particular and the Dubliners for a bit of fun
So to get into the mood :

    Dubliners, Whisky in the Jar

Earl Scruggs & The Chieftains - Sally Goodin' toe tapping music This is a must

Irish drinking song - Bugger off
Warning this video contains course language, so you don’t have to watch

A stronger version for those with tough stomachs whoops

Happy St. Patrick's day to you. I'm Irish american myself
or my last name wouldn't be Tooley. The main thing to
eat that's irish is potatoes. Not irish whisky since I don't
drink the stuff. I find it revolting. Instead I will drink
a green tea made of peppermint or some other kind of
herb that makes a fine tea. Shamrocks are pretty when
they have those little blooms on them.

Is it me or do I detect a resemblance between Blue Grass and some Irish music?

Green isn't the only thing that the Irish wear. They also wear
    orange as their color.

And on the theme of St Pats

Paddy was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place. Looking up to heaven he said, 'Lord take pity on me. If you find me a parking place I will go to Mass every Sunday for the rest of me life and give up me Irish Whiskey!'

    Miraculously, a parking place appeared.

Paddy looked up again and said, 'Never mind, I found one.'
I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.
    —Albert Einstein.
