Step daughter comes in and tells me that instead of moving in with me they are getting divorced, she is moving to Manchester with their daughter, he is going to Kent. (I never liked him anyway, moody b*@@/#)

So that leaves me with having to continue paying a mortgage on my pension, quite a bit of my furniture gone to make room for theirs, and quite a bit of time and money spent changing a couple of rooms to suit them (bathroom still needs the bath fitting, that was scheduled for this weekend or next)

Got no booze in the house so can't drown me sorrows, not that that would achieve much, apart from a hangover.

Well, at least you won't have to ever put up with the moody b*@@/# again. Hopefully she will travel down to see you more often.

Typical Mike. On top of the usual problems one has with kids, step chidren seem to care even less, in my experience. I wil PM you with a possibe solution. (which does not involve firearms)

I am sorry to hear that Mike, it sounds like you are better off without the son-in-law. I am sure you will still see your daughter and grand daughter. Sorry I can't give you any booze, have a cup of tea instead. (no hangover)
