    lydian pentatonic scale and lydian vamp

    To get a lydian sound when soloing you can use a lydian pentatonic scale.Over a F major chord you can play a E minor pentatonic scale, this gives you a lydian scale. A good lydian vamp is to play a F bass note with a F major triad then a G major triad. see soon from FUNK JAM.......

    pentatonic scales are used a lot in folk they do sound very good to me
