All I can say is I found it delightful. Please keep them coning. The only thing is I am getting very jealous of all the talent on this forum.

Hi Jonesey,
Ahah ... Symphony No 3 in C Minor (the organ symphony) ... the organ part.
Never heard it played separately before ... Are you going to play this with an orchestra?
The only critique I have is that the block chords might be more pronounced ... not so legato, which is how I have heard it played when combined with an orchestra. Otherwise very nice playing ...
Which Allen model was used?
Yes, teddy, the amount of talent on this forum is staggering ... but it is so wonderful to hear more examples of our members playing.

Amateur musicians practice until they get it right ...
Professional musicians practice until they can't get it wrong ...
Hi Krummhorn, No, sadly they won't let me have an orchestra - it's just for the end of a Eucharist service.
A colleauge of mine gave me the music, just set out for Organ, and just this one part - I thought it would make a nice recessional.
Listening back today I can appreciate what you say on the block chords, so will work on that.
That's exactly why I uploaded it - I want the input of the people on here - I agree with Teddy, there is so much great talent on this forum that some advice from them is invaluable.
Cheers,
Jonesey.
Jonesy !!!
Great !! I like. I disagree with Lars here (...sorry lars !) I like the legato version !
This is a solo organ version.
I got the Adagio from this symphony with Robert Delcamp playing solo transcription by Emile Bernard at the organ of St.Martin Dudelange Luxemburg (Naxos 2005).
IMHO, playing this work in a solo organ must be different as the orchestra is absent...
Dunno, just put fuel for discussion
Jonesy, yes, please, more !
