    The Winter Tree

It has been rather silent around US act MAGUS. But now Andrew Laitres (aka Robinson) is back on track with THE WINTER TREE. This new outfit consists of Andrew along with Deb Bond (keyboards) and Mark Bond (lead and harmony vox, guitar)...
I have their debut CD only some days but I can give a recommendation tag. No more no less. This is a superbly packaged album. Undoubtedly, the new material continues (basically) the style of previous period. And it features excellent compositions, catchy melodies, great musicianship - with an emphasis on fine keys and brilliant guitar work. Plus the emotion laden singing.

Such music can be played at any time or any place. Very enjoyable stuff indeed.

Btw. If you still have not bought their s/t debut album, please give a try. Then you can be surprised by the beauty and deep feelings coming from those wonderful songs.
