Cheers!

I am a newly registered user, but I've been watching this site for quite some time now.
Here I am now to present you my work.

I am Goran, creator and only member of GD Music (my initials) and I create OST or soundtrack music for movies. Quite simple. My thoughts are, because I have seen some active moviemakers and future fimmakers on this forum, maybe I can present them and to you my work.

This project started out of pure love that I developed from early age. I invested some money in programs and in instruments so that I can present myself in best possible way.

You can visit this site to hear my samples: http://gd-music.co.nr

but I encourage you to visit my youtube channel because there is more work in there.

I hope you will like it.

Thank you!

P.S. And please, listen to all samples if you wish, there is a lot of different types in there. :)

Thank you!

I was asked to do a theme for a adventure/drama movie that is epic and had some melancholic feeling at the same time... This is what I came up with on my keyboard... I hope I will get the green light so I can finish it with full orchestra, I really think it would be top notch...

So this is just a piano mock up version, I hope you will like it:

Cheers, guys!

I didn't post a new song for quite a while, I have finally bought new instruments and programs as well and I am working on a much complex music and honestly, it is draining my patience and brain as well, so here is a little sad piano-orchestral piece I wrote couple of months before, but just now I took my time and played it:

Hello GDMusic, i've read your thread and listened to some of your songs (by the way really liked "Eternity" ;) ) If I can give you a advice : the song you've made, in what i've heard so far, you don't use a lot of Brasses (trompets, trombones etc..), do you ? It would give a depth to the songs, juste a novice's advice xD
I must say I way going to do the same sort of tread as you, showing some of the pieces I've made, but I just began composing scores, so for the moment, i just have only one song (a sort of trailer score), I would apreciate if you (or other members) listen to it and comment, and criticize it.
What sound libraries do you use ?
[Sorry for bad grammar or ortograph, I'm French x)]

No problem mate, I wasn't using any brass or something because they didn't fit the style of the music... So therefore, that's the reason... You will also notice that if you put bras in some sad melody, it kind of turn it other way around, the way it doesn't seems right. But, because now I have upgraded my studio, bought new instruments as well as programs, I can finally create epic music worthy of the word "Epic". So my next song is created with a lot of instruments, including brass section and more, and you can hear that epic feeling in it. But, without further ado, here it is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNZUVDE5IRc

I have downloaded your song. It is a nice little piece, if I may recall, you are using EWQL symphonic orchestra or is it a sample you found somewhere? It is a nice song, just a little bit of equalizing it, you know, mixing it around and it would sound much better, also try to add some more instruments, because, unlike my music that I did before, you are trying to create epic and glorious feeling, and that is something that, if you end up doing this job and find yourself working music for some filmmaker/gamemaker, every composer or listener will tell you... Keep on doing your work, you surely have a feeling to it.
Also, I have started working on some bigger projects, now that my computer finally allows me to do it... Thats just construction advice, nothing more... In the future, I am sure you will hear more instruments then before.

Cheers, and thanx for your comments! I wish you best luck in composer work and, of course, strong nerves ;)

Greetings!

Here is a new track that I created for some game, but the author didn't find it fitting for his style. Maybe somebody from here will find it suitable for his game (if somebody is making game here :)). It is kind of adventuristic, even western type main title. It is just a looped sample, you can here it here:

Greetings, guys and gals!

After a long time of absence, I am here again, alive and breathing. :D

The reason why I was absent so long is because I had some problems with my old computer so I invested some money and bought a good machine and nice software so now I can create more epic sounding music for your movies or games.

Here you can check out new song that I created for this band, some good East Asian stuff. The band is creating entire album about Japan cultuire, samurais etc. so it needed some...well, East Asian instruments :D

Check it out and let me know what you think:

Thanks, man!

Again me. :D Here is some epic track, with full symphony and choirs, check it out, I am really interested what you think about it. It was created quite fast, even though it has a lot of instruments. Can be used like trailer for some modern war or pagan movies:
