Re: Happy Thanksgiving to those in the USA

Thanks for the kind words. I was doing work in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio Texas over Thanksgiving week. (Workshops/Master Classes in preparation for the NAMM Winter Market).

I returned home this morning. It is soo good to be home. I'll be off to Florida for three days next week. Being warm is good!

I got to share Thanksgiving with new friends made on the Texas trip. It was amazing, getting to share such an "intimate" holiday (usually reserved for immediate family, etc) with such vibrant, kind, and engaged folks.

That every day could be so...

    Soli Deo Gloria!

    A belated thanks, Frederik!

I had a nice Thanksgiving, however, I think if more turkeys had that kind of look in their eye, we'd be running away from them!

    Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the USA

Although the members of this forum represents groups of people from many lands, many walks of life, different cultures and religions, we all have something that we can be thankful for.

I am not sure how this time of year is celebrated in other countries, so possibly people would like to share this with the rest of the membership in this forum as I think it would make for interesting knowledge.

My personal best to all, here

    That`s nice, Krummhorn

Here in Canada, we celebrated Thanksgiving in October. Nevertheless, I wish all our American friends here a Happy Thanksgiving as well, including you, Krummhorn. Any turkey on the menu?

    Thanks, rojo ...

We do a meal with friends and family potluck stlye - very organized as each person is assigned what to bring - about 16 people in all - so there is always plenty of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry salad, olives and, of course, the usual deserts: Pumpkin pie, apple pie, lemon meringue pie.

Since I am the only professional musician, they bestowed upon me the annual task of leading the table grace in song (Old 100th - Doxology with different words "Be Present at our table ..." )

Today, the day afterwards, we are munching on leftovers - tomorrow its back on the regular diet
