Within The Woods Score/Soundtrack Help Needed

Hi all,

I need some help, I'm trying to assemble a Within The Woods Score/Soundtrack, just as a personal pet project. This was a Super-8 prototype film made by Sam Raimi, made in order to raise funds for his later feature; The Evil Dead. Like many of Sam's early Super-8 short films, it was scored using music taken from other motion picture scores around at the time.

I know that the film borrows heavily from two scores; Michael Winner's 1974 film Death Wish (composed by Herbie Hancock), and Philip Kaufman's 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (composed by Denny Zeitlin), but also draws from a number of other diverse films such as On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Deadly Mantis, Jaws, The Eyes Of Laura Mars and Sorcerer, as well as using a couple of disco songs by artists Rickie Lee Jones, and Sister Sledge. The above mostly come from films from the mid to late 70's, but the missing tracks could possibly be from much earlier films, although nothing later than 1979 when Within The Woods was completed.

I've had this as a pet project for the last few years, updating it every now and then as I find new tracks, and I've identified 29 of the 31 tracks used, but I'm completely stuck with the last two, and thought I'd see if anyone here could help?

You can see the project page with a full track listing at my site here;

And here are samples of the two tracks I need to identify.

Track 03 is rather short and will be very tricky to identify (and it's not Invasion of the Body Snatchers, although two bits sound similar), but Track 04 is a very distinct 1m 56s solo flute cue. I've been through so many soundtracks and haven't had any luck on these. Can anyone help me?

Sorry I can't help. The second clip sounds familiar, but I watched so many films/TV when I was young I can't place it
