    Cannongate Kirk, Edinburgh Organ

    The second Royal Wedding for Britain in this year was held recently at the Cannongate Kirk in Edinburgh when the Grand Daughter of Queen Elizabeth was married. Not the least among its distinctions the historic Cannongate Kirk is home to the only Frobenius Organ in Scotland and the 1,000 instrument built by that renowned company.

    I love the Frobenius Organs. There is one in a church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, about 100 miles from where I live. The sound is so pure and clear you can almost see the icicles hanging from the pipes when it is being played.

    No information is given on YouTube on the organist or composition. this is the ony clip I could find on the instrument. Maddening!

    Played a Frobenius at Jørlunde Kirke in Denmark the summer of 2010 - the same organ Frederik designed and recently cut a double CD on. A delight to play!
