    Cool Dandrieu's Magnificat, Suite No.1

    Hi to all !

During August I was practicing J.F.Dandrieu's Magnificat Suite No.1 from "Premier Livre d'Orgue" released in 1739 in Paris after his death....

Feeling confortable enough I decided to do a recording of this work with my Custom Organ No.1 and share it with all.
    Beautiful music he wrote !

Here you can download it free.
320kbps HQ mp3 (six files all in one RAR file, 22MB)
Info & license pdf file included ! (please read)

I hope you will enjoy it !

    All my best

    Thanks Teddy.
Try DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) free version. It's fast (5 simultaneous links) and reliable. I use it all the time.
With our fast Internet connection (24mbps) I usually get a 3.5GB file (with DAP enabled) at about 35 minutes !

    Hi Panos,

Excellent work and a wonderful presentation of both the music and the virtual pipe organ that you're creating/using Thanks for sharing!

    Very welcome Graham,

jOrgan midi software is responsible for the control of such a virtual construction of an imaginary pipe organ. I had in mind a pipe organ that Dandrieu would had at his disposal at the time. Independence 3 and Reaper 4 gave their power to do it.
The sad thing is that he died before the release of his premier livre d'orgue.....

I was feeling ready enough to play those works, so I went on.
Come on friends, do more organ works recordings and share them ! This is the best place to post them !

I found a couple of Dandrieu PDF scores and MIDI files this morning on a site I'd only briefly looked at

    http://www.free-scores.com/index_uk.php3

Did a search on organ works, came up with over 1700 entries, from Renaissance (1500's ) through to present day.

Now got just a few(!!!!!!!!!!!!) titles to play with!
    Cheers MIKE.
